Mr. Chong Siew Chiang
Mr. Chong Siew Chiang was called to the English Bar by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London on 9 July, 1966. Upon his return from London, he served in the Judicial Department as a Magistrate in 1966. He then resigned from such service to set up Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates jointly with the late Tan Sri Datuk Amar Chong Siew Fai in January 1968. Mr Chong Siew Chiang is also a Notary Public duly appointed since June 1980.
Being one of the most senior counsel and renowned litigation lawyer in Sarawak, Mr. Chong Siew Chiang has handled many cases involving different areas of law including corporate banking, shipping, company take-over, land law, defamation, election and administrative law in all levels of Court right up to the Federal Court.

Ms. Grace Tan Hui Poh
Ms. Grace Tan Hui Poh is a co-partner of the Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates. She graduated with the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Law from the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Upon graduation, she sat for the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and was admitted as a Barrister of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia in 1993. Thereafter, she returned to Kuching and admitted as an Advocate of Sabah and Sarawak in 1994. She has wide experience in both conveyancing and litigation matters including admiralty, family, hire-purchase, bankruptcy, commercial, banking, construction, land, and estate law. Ms. Grace Tan is also a Commissioner for Oaths.

YB Chong Chieng Jen
YB Chong Chieng Jen graduated with the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Economics) and Bachelor of Law from the Australian National University, Canberra, and was admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 1996. He commenced his legal training with Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates since early 1996 and eventually was admitted as an Advocate of Sabah and Sarawak in February 1997. He has wide experience in both conveyancing and litigation matters including administrative, corporate, contract, land, family law and criminal law. YB Chong Chieng Jen has been elected as a Member of the Malaysia Parliament since 2004 and he is currently the State Assemblyman for Sarawak State Constituency of Padungan.

YB Violet Yong Wui Wui
YB Violet Yong Wui Wui graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne in 2001 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in June, 2002. She then returned to Sarawak and commenced her legal training with another renowned legal firm in Kuching. Thereafter, she was admitted as an Advocate of Sabah and Sarawak in 2003. She joined Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates since April, 2005 and has experience in banking litigation, conveyancing, family and estate law. YB Violet Yong Wui Wui is currently the State Assemblywoman for Pending having been elected since 2006.

Mr. Michael Kong Feng Nian
Mr. Michael Kong holds the degree of Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania, Australia and a Certificate of Legal Practice from the Malaysian Legal Profession Qualifying Board, which he obtained in 2012. Prior to joining Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates, he was attached to another firm specializing in banking litigation as well as corporate and conveyancing practice.
Since joining Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates, Mr. Michael Kong has been involved in general commercial and civil litigation (particularly sales of goods, banking, defamation, constitutional and administrative law matters) and criminal litigation. He is also involved in commercial, corporate, financing and conveyancing practice in which he is involved in the various aspect of law from licensing agreements, joint ventures, banking and corporate finance to real estate transactions, project development and corporate commercial transactions.
Mr. Michael Kong is admitted to the High Court of Malaya and therefore holds dual admission to both the West Malaysian and Sarawak Bar. He has appeared at all tiers of the Malaysian Courts and is regularly engaged for trial and appellate work.

Mr. Sim Kiat Leng
Mr. Sim Kiat Leng holds the degree of Bachelor of Law from the Queensland University of Technology and admitted as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of Queensland, Australia. He was also admitted as an Advocate of Sabah and Sarawak. He is currently practice in both conveyancing and litigation matters including family law, hire-purchase, bankruptcy, commercial, banking, land law and estate and probate.

Mr. Hii Yiik Yew
Mr. Hii holds the Degree of Bachelor of Law (LL.B) with Honours from University of Liverpool and the Certificate of Legal Practice from Malaysian Legal Profession Qualifying Board.
Prior to joining Chong Brothers Advocates, Mr. Hii has years of practice in Sabah with a renowned legal firm. Mr. Hii has dual admission in both Sabah Bar and Sarawak Bar as advocate.
Mr. Hii Yiik Yew is admitted to the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak in both Sabah and Sarawak. With the vast experience in both Sabah and Sarawak, he is familiar with the exclusive local laws for both Sabah and Sarawak.

Ms. Brenda Chong Yan Ni
Ms. Brenda Chong holds the degree of Bachelor of Law from the University of the West of England. She was admitted as a Barrister at Law of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Middle Temple.
Upon her admission to the bar in United Kingdom, she underwent her pupillage with Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates before being admitted as an advocate of Sabah and Sarawak.
She currently practices conveyancing and litigation particularly in family law, hire-purchase, bankruptcy, commercial, banking, land law, and estate and probate matters.

Ms. Sharon Lo Min Hui
Ms. Sharon Lo graduated from University Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) with Degree of Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2022.
She joined Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates in 2022 as a pupil-in-chambers where she completed her pupillage and was admitted as an Advocate of Sabah and Sarawak in September 2023.
Ms. Sharon Lo is currently a legal assistant in Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates, primarily handling both litigation and conveyancing matters.
